McLaughlins is the only Irish owned and Irish run pub in Düsseldorf. Home to the German Irish Society, Düsseldorf Gaelic Football, Düsseldorf Dragons Rugby.
McLaughlins Irish Pub is situated in the heart of the Düsseldorf Altstadt also famously known as ‘The World's Longest Bar’. It is located about half a minute walk from the Altstadt Taxi Rank at ‘Burg Platz’ and less than two minutes walk from the Heinrich Heine Allee underground station.
McLaughlins has been in the Düsseldorf Altstadt now for almost 30 years and has established itself as the ‘Expats’ favourite watering hole, not only because of the home feeling welcome but our ability to create the craic with regular live music, weekend parties, our Student Night every Thursday (where the beer is 2 for 1), our Karaoke nights every Friday and our famous Sunday Night Quiz. If sport is your thing you are in the right place, with all major sporting events (football, rugby, GAA, boxing, horse racing etc.) shown on a giant screen and a variety of plasma screens in a stadium like atmosphere.
If however you prefer to participate in sport, no problem, we have our own football team McLaughlins F.C. (new players always welcome) who play in a local German League. If it is rugby you are into you will always bump into some members of the Düsseldorf Dragons Rugby Club (who also have a female team).
McLaughlins is also home to the Düsseldorf Bhoys Celtic Supporters Club although fans from all clubs are more than welcome.
