The Düsseldorf Dragons at the “Sport im Heimatsommer”

The Düsseldorf Sportamt project "Sport im Heimatsommer" (previously mentioned in an article) gave the Düsseldorf Dragons a chance to introduce Rugby to children aged 6 to 14.

Over the course of the three days, over 600 children visited the event, with a large number taking part in our Rugby group. Overall, the feedback was great and we hope to welcome some of the kids to our new training sessions in September. Some requests have reached us already, which proves the project was a success.

A special thank you goes to all organisers and volunteers involved in creating and setting up the event. The project was a success from start to finish and gave us a great chance to present our sport and raise interest in those who took part.
