Our Senior team finds its way back to victory!
It started on Saturday 28th September in Münster were the Düsseldorf Dragons managed to bring back home a large victory with 38 points to 7 against the local team RT Münster.
In the first half of that game, the Düsseldorf players gave no chance to the Münster players and scored most of their points.
The second half of the game became a bit more hectic. The Düsseldorf players lost part of their structure and their discipline, which allowed the Münster team to score one converted try.
In the end, the Düsseldorf Dragons were very happy to celebrate their first win of the season.
But not as happy as with the next game.
The following week-end, the Düsseldorf Senior men's team had another away game in Köln for the derby game against the RSV Köln second team.
The great team work, the strong defense, the well managed structure and the impact of every substitute are the ingredients that allowed the team to come back home with a large success. The final score: 8 points the the RSV Köln, 51 points to Düsseldorf.
A large victory that allows the Düsseldorf Dragons to hope for the best for the rest of the season.
For their next league game, the Dragons will have to travel to Wiedenbrück for a game against the current table leader. Let's hope for the best for our Düsseldorf players.
